Israel Builds First Prototype of Future Fighting Vehicle

Israel Builds First Prototype of Future Fighting Vehicle

TEL AVIV, Israel — Israel’s Tank Production Authority is producing its first prototype of Eitan, an eight-wheel-drive armored fighting vehicle designed to weigh nearly half as much as the new Namer heavy carriers.
The locally developed Eitan — Hebrew for steadfast — will be deployed alongside new Namers and will replace old M113s that still support the bulk of Israeli infantry.
Sources here said it will weigh no more than 35 tons and will incorporate a new generation of active protection, an advanced turret and a full complement of munitions and sensors.
Field demonstrations are slated by the end of next year, with initial serial production expected to begin by 2020.
“It will be a lot lighter [than Namer] and will be designed to cost,” said Maj. Gen. Guy Zur, commander of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Ground Forces Command. “It may be less good [than the Namer], but it will be affordable and allow us to equip a large part of our force.”
Defense and industry sources said the MoD-owned Tank Production Authority south of Tel Aviv has one prototype in production and another in its advanced planning phase.
In parallel, MoD’s MAFAT Research and Development Bureau is working on a demonstrator program called Carmel aimed at driving the design of Israel’s future tank, a follow-on to the 65-ton Merkava Mk4.
Sources say Carmel — a Hebrew acronym for Advanced Ground Combat Vehicle — will not be a Merkava Mk5, nor will it replace the Mk4, which is expected to remain in production through 2020.
Rather, it is a research-and-development program aimed at a state-of-the-art, medium-weight combat vehicle. It will most likely be treaded, rather than wheeled, and designed to weigh around 32 tons.
“It won’t be Merkava Mk5. The operational requirement will be something entirely different,” one source said of the envisioned future tank.
Defense and industry sources anticipate development and demonstration testing will extend over the coming decade or more, depending on the maturation of lightweight materials, advanced technologies and a spectrum of planned subsystems.
“Carmel is much longer-range. It will not compete with the ongoing production program [of Eitan] or with the Merkava Mk4,” a defense source told Defense News.
Sources noted that just as Eitan will be deployed alongside the heavier Namer in future ground maneuvering scenarios, the fruits of the Carmel demonstrator program will eventually be deployed alongside Merkava Mk4s.
Both new vehicles are intended to be integrated with existing heavy armor into the same digitized command-and-control network, providing war planners with more scenario-tailored options for maneuvering war, they added.
Zur said both vehicles are part of his Ground Horizon plan, a strategic blueprint for designing Israel’s future ground force up to 20 years from now.
In a recent interview, he said Plan Horizon anticipates initial fielding of the wheeled Eitan “in much less than 10 years, perhaps even five.” In contrast, the Carmel future tank demonstrator is not expected to enter service until 2025 or 2027, Zur said.

China developing Railgun and Lasers too

China also developing railguns and lasers for their navy but will first have a modern missile cruiser in about 2017

China appears to be developing a new cruiser, potentially called the Type 055, which reportedly would displace approximately 10,000 tons and carry large numbers [about 128] of antiship cruise missiles, surface-to-air missiles, and land-attack cruise missiles as well as potentially laser and rail-gun weapons. The first 055 hull to begin construction in the 2015-2016 timeframe. The 055 CG is expected to replace PLAN Type 052D destroyer as China's main combatant surface, with at probably twice as many missile launchers (128 vs. 64). The 055 CG will play a major part in China's naval strategy starting with a projected entry into service of 2017-2020. Its large size, formidable armament and powerful sensors will match or exceed that any current U.S. or allied AEGIS warship in the Pacific.

It will become the principal escort for China’s future aircraft carrier battle group.

North Korea still having 50+ Submarine to play with South Korea

TOKYO -- As tensions were rising on the Korean peninsula in August, North Korea suddenly deployed about 50 submarines all at once. The move came as a complete surprise to military officials in the U.S., Japan and South Korea.

This new tactic could escalate the military standoff and could eventually come back to haunt the Pyongyang regime.
North Korea is believed to have a fleet of about 70 submarines and submersible vessels. This includes about 20 1,800-ton Romeo-class submarines, as well as a number of 270-ton Sang-O-class submarines which are used to insert special forces teams into enemy territory. The fleet also includes 110-ton Yugo-class subs and a number of midget submarines, which are small submersible vessels. North Korea's Romeo-class submarines are believed to be based on a Chinese vessel, which is a variant of the Russian Romeo-class submarine.
This means that the North has deployed 70% of its known fleet all at once.
Submarines are difficult to locate and track. Often, they are deployed to detect the sounds of another submarine's propellers. Another way is to spread sound-emitting buoys from patrol planes into suspected hiding places in the hope of catching a returning echo.
Most of North Korea's submarine fleet is aging, and the vessels are relatively loud when cruising. Experts say this makes them much easier to detect. However, it is extremely difficult to track every individual submarine when such a large number are deployed all at once. The South Korean military reported that it was unable to track all of them.
In 2010, a South Korean patrol vessel sank after being struck by a torpedo from a North Korean submarine. Given this history, Seoul worried that Pyongyang could launch another surprise attack this time.
If the situation deteriorates, Japan and the U.S. face the possibility that the North Korean submarines may attack Japanese and U.S. ships.
Huge mobilization
The large submarine deployment by the North is a tactic known as a saturation attack, in which the attacking side mobilizes a huge amount of military force at once to overwhelm its opponent.

Boriska -The boy from mars

Sometimes, some children are born with quite fascinating talents, unusual abilities.

I was told the story of an unusual boy named Boriska from members of an expedition to the anomaly zone located in the north of the Volgograd region, most commonly referred to as “Medvedetskaya gryada”…
“Can you imagine, while everyone was sitting around the campfire at night, some little boy (about 7 years of age) suddenly asked everyone’s attention. Turned out, he wanted to tell them all about life on Mars, about its inhabitants and their flights to earth,” shares one of the witnesses. Silence followed. It was incredible!

The little boy with gigantic lively eyes was about to tell a magnificent story about the Martian civilization, about megalithic cities, their spaceships and flights to various planets, about a wonderful country Lemuria, life of which he knew in details since he happened to descend there from Mars, had friends there…
Logs were cracking, night's fog enveloped the area and the immense dark sky with myriads of brightly lit stars seemed to conceal some sort of a mystery. His story lasted for about an hour and a half. One guy was smart enough to tape the entire narration.

Many were stunned by the two distinctive factors. First of all, the boy possessed exceptionally profound knowledge. His intellect was obviously far from that of a typical 7-year-old. Not every professor is capable of narrating the entire history of Lemuria and Lemurians and its inhabitants in such details. You will be unable to find any mentioning of this country in school textbooks. Modern science has not yet proved existence of other civilizations.

Second of all, we were all amazed by the actual speech of this young boy. It was far from the kind kids his age usually use. His knowledge of specific terminology, details and facts from Mars' and Earth’s past fascinated everyone.
“Why did he start the conversation in the first place,” said my interlocutor. “Perhaps, he was simply touched by the overall atmosphere of our camp with many knowledgeable and open-minded people,” continued he.

“Could he make this all up?”

“Doubtful”, objected my friend”.

“To me this looks more like the boy was sharing his personal memories from past births. It is virtually impossible to make up such stories; one really had to know them.”
Today, after meeting with Boris' parents and getting to know the boy better, I begin to carefully sort out all the information obtained around that campfire. He was born in Volzhskii town in a suburban hospital, even though officially, based on the paperwork, his birthplace is the town of Zhirnovsk of Volgograd region. His birthday is January 11th, 1996. (Perhaps it will be helpful for astrologers).

His parents seem to be wonderful people. Nadezhda, Boriska's mother, is a dermatologist in a public clinic. She graduated from Volgograd medical institute not so long ago in 1991. The boy’s father is a retired officer. Both of them would be happy if someone could shed the light onto the mystery behind their child. In the meantime, they simply observe him and watch him grow.
-After Boriska was born, I noticed he was able to hold his head in 15 days, recalls Nadezhda. His first word “baba” he uttered when he was 4 months old and very soon afterward started talking. At age 7, he constructed his first sentence, “I want a nail.” He said this particular phrase after noticing a nail stuck in the wall. Most notably, his intellectual abilities surpassed his physical ones.

-How did those abilities manifest themselves?
-When Boris was just one year old, I started giving him letters (based on the Nikitin’s system) and guess what, at 1,5 he was able to read large newspaper print. It didn’t take long for him to get acquainted with colors and their shades. He began to paint at 2.

Then, soon after he turned 2, we took him to the children day care center. Teachers were all stunned by his talents and his unusual way of thinking. The boy possesses exceptional memory and an unbelievable ability to grasp new information. However, his parents soon noticed that their child had been acquiring information in his own unique way, from some place else…

- No one has ever taught him that, recalls Nadya. But sometimes, he would sit in a lotus position and start all these talks. He would talk about Mars, about planetary systems, distant civilizations…we couldn’t believe our own ears. How can a kid know all this? Cosmos, never-ending stories of other worlds and the immense skies, are like daily mantras for him since he was 2.

It was then that Boriska told us about his previous life on Mars, about the fact that the planet was in fact inhabited, but as a result of the most powerful and destructive catastrophe had lost its atmosphere and that nowadays all its inhabitants have to live in underground cities. Back then, he used to fly to earth quite often for trade and other research purposes. It seems that Boriska piloted his spaceship himself. This was during the times of the Lemurian civilizations. He had a Lemurian friend who had been killed right before his own eyes…

-A major catastrophe took place on earth. A gigantic continent was consumed by stormy waters. Then suddenly, a massive rock fell on a construction… my friend was there…, tells Boriska. I could not safe him. We are destined to meet some time in this life.

The boy envisions the entire picture of the fall of Lemuria as though it happened yesterday. He grieves the death of his best friend as though it was his fault.

One day, he noticed a book in his mother’s bag entitled “Where do we come from?” by Ernst Muldashev. One should have seen the kind of happiness and fascination this discovery triggered in the little boy. He’s been flipping through pages for hours, looking at sketches of Lemurians, photos of Tibet. He then started talking about high intellect of the Lemurians…

-But Lemuria ceased to exist minimum 800 000 years ago…, I uttered in response to his statements. Lemurians were 9 meters tall! Is that so? How can you remember all this?

-I do remember, replied the boy.

Later, he began recalling another book by Muldashev entitled “In Search of the City of Gods.” The book is mainly devoted to ancient tombs and pyramids. Boriska firmly stated that people will find knowledge under one of the pyramids (not the pyramid of Cheops). It hasn’t been discovered yet.
“Life will change once the Sphinx will be opened,” said he and added that the great Sphinx has an opening mechanism somewhere behind his ear (but he does not remember where exactly).
The boy also talks with great passion and enthusiasm about the Mayan civilization. According to him, we know very little about this great civilization and its people.

Most interestingly, Boriska thinks that nowadays the time has finally come for the “special ones” to be born on earth. Planet’s rebirth is approaching. New knowledge will be in great demand, a different mentality of earthlings.

- How do you know about these gifted kids and why this is happening? Are you aware that they are called “indigo” kids?
-I know that they are being born. However, I haven't met anyone in my town yet. Perhaps may be this one girl named Yulia Petrova. She is the only one who believes me. Others simply laugh at my stories. Something is going to happen on earth; that is why these kids are of importance. They will be able to help people.

The Poles will shift. The first major catastrophe with one of the continents will happen in 2009. Next one will take place in 2013; it will be even more devastating.

- Aren't you scared that your life may also going to end as a result of that catastrophe?
-No. I’m not afraid. I have lived through one catastrophe on Mars already. There still live people like us out there. But after the nuclear war, everything has burnt down. Some of those people managed to survive. They built shelters, new weaponry. There was also a shift of continents there, although the continent was not as large. Martians breathe gas. In case they arrived to our planet, they would have been all standing next to pipes and breathing in fumes.

- Do you prefer breathing oxygen?
-Once you are in this body, you have to breathe oxygen. However, Martians dislike this air, earth’s air, because it causes aging. Martians are all relatively young, about 30-35 years old. The amount of such Martian children will increase annually.

- Boris, why do our space stations crash before they reach Mars?
-Mars transmits special signals aimed at destroying them. Those stations contain harmful radiation.

I was amazed by his knowledge of this sort of radiation in “Phobos”. This is absolutely true. Back in 1988 resident of Volzhsky Yuri Lushnichenko, a man with extrasensory powers attempted to warn Soviet leaders about the inevitable crash of the first Soviet space stations “Phobos 1” and “Phobos-2”. He also mentioned this sort of an “unfamiliar” and harmful for the planet radiation. Obviously, no one believed him then.

- What do you know about multiple dimensions? Do you know that one must fly not on straight trajectories, but maneuvering through the multi-dimensional space?
Boriska immediately rose to his feet and started to pour all the facts about UFOs. “We took off and landed on Earth almost momentarily!” The boy takes a chalk and begins drawing an oval object on a blackboard. “It consists of six layers,” he says. 25%--outer layer, made of durable metal, 30%--second layer made of something similar to rubber, the third layer comprises 30%--once again metal. The final 4% is composed of a special magnetic layer. “If we are to charge this magnetic layer with energy, those machines will be able to fly anywhere in the Universe.”

- Does Boriska have a special mission to fulfill? Is he aware of it?- I pose these questions to his parents and the boy himself.
-He says he can guess,- says his mother. He says he knows something about the future of Earth. He says information will play the most significant role in the future…

- Boris, how do you know all this?
-It is inside of me.

- Boris, tell us why do people get sick?
-Sickness comes from people's inability to live properly and be happy… You must wait for you cosmic half. One should never get involve and mess up other peoples’ destinies. People should not suffer because of their past mistakes, but get in touch with what’s been predestined for them and try to reach those heights and move on to conquer their dreams. (These are the exact words he was using).

You have to be more sympathetic and warmhearted. In case someone strikes you, hug your enemy, apologize yourself and kneel before him. In case someone hates you, love him with all your love and devotion and ask for forgiveness. These are the rules of love and humbleness. Do you know why the Lemurians died? I am also partially at blame. They did not wish to develop spiritually any more. They went astray from the predestined path thus destructing the overall wholeness of the planet. The Magic’s Path leads to dead end. Love is a True Magic!

- How do you know all this???
-I know… Kailis…

- What did you say?
-I said “hello!” This is the language of my planet…

Boriska, Indigo Boy from Mars, Predicts Mammoth Catastrophes in 2009
Boy Says He Was A Martian Being Seven Meters In Height In His Past Life
29.10.2005
The unusual baby boy was born in the town of Volzhsky, the Volgograd region of Russia. His mother, Nadezhda Kipriyanovich, gave birth to her son one fine morning. “It all happened so fast, I did not even feel any pain. When they showed the baby to me, the boy was looking at me with a grown-up look. As a pediatrician I know that newborns cannot concentrate looks on anything. However, my little baby was staring at me with his big brown eyes. Brushing that fact aside, he was a usual little baby, like all other kids,” the boys mother said.

When the mother and her son returned home from the maternity hospital, the woman started noticing very curious things about her little son. The boy, whom the mother named Boris, hardly ever cried and never suffered from any ailments. He was growing up like all other children, but he started speaking whole phrases at the age of eight months. The parents gave the baby a meccano, and the boy started making geometrically correct figures from it, combining different parts with precision.
“I had a very weird feeling that we were like aliens to him, with whom he was trying to establish a contact with,” the boy's mother said.
When Boris, or Boriska, as parents were affectionately calling their son, turned two, he started drawing pictures, which looked abstract at first: they were mixtures of blue and violet colors. When psychologists examined the drawings, they said that the boy was probably trying to draw the auras of people, whom he could see around. Boris was not even three, when he started telling his parents of the Universe.
”He could name all the planets of the solar systems and even their satellites. He was showering me with names and numbers of galaxies. At first I found it very frightening, I thought that my son was out of mind, but then I decided to check if those names really existed. I took some books on astronomy and I was shocked to find out that the boy knew so much about this science,” Nadezhda said.
Rumors about a baby-astronomer were spreading about the town faster than the speed of light. The boy became the local celebrity: people were curious about the child, everybody wanted to understand how he could know so many things. Boriska was willing to tell his visitors of extraterrestrial civilizations, about the existence of the ancient race of humans that were three meters of stature, of future climate and global changes… Everyone was listening to the little boy with great interest, but it goes without saying that the people did not believe those stories.

The parents decided to baptize their child just to be on the safe side: they already started thinking that there was something definitely wrong with their baby. Soon after that Boriska started telling people of their sins. He would come up to a guy in the street and tell him to quit doing drugs; he would tell adult men to stop cheating on their wives, etc. The little prophet was warning people against forthcoming troubles and diseases, which created quite an unfavorable reputation for the boy's parents.

Nadezhda noticed later that her son would often feel bad on the threshold of serious disasters.
“When the Kursk submarine sank, he was all aching. He was suffering during the hostage crisis in Beslan too, he refused to go to school during the days of that horrible attack,” the boy's mother said.
When asked about his feelings during the days of the Beslan crisis, Boris said that he was burning from the inside:
“It was like as if a flame was burning inside of me. I knew that the story in Beslan would have a horrible end,” the boy said.
The boy is quite optimistic about Russia's future, though:
“The situation in the country will be improving gradually. However, planet Earth will have to experience two very dangerous years – 2009 and 2013. Those catastrophes will be connected with water,” Boriska said.
Boriska caught Russian scientists' attention in the summer of the current year. Specialists of the Institute of Earth Magnetism and Radio-waves of the Russian Academy of Sciences photographed the boy's aura, which turned out to beunusually strong.
”He has the orange spectrogram, which says that he is a joyful person of a powerful intellect,” professor Vladislav Lugovenko said.

“There is a theory, according to which the human brain has two basic memory types: work and remote memory. One of the most remarkable abilities of the human brain is its ability to save information about experience, emotions and thoughts both inwardly and outwardly, in the single informational space of the Universe. There are some unique individuals, who can draw information from that field. In my opinion, every human being is connected with space by means of energy channels,” the scientist said.
According to Lugovenko, it is possible to measure people's extrasensorial qualities with the help of special devices, which make this procedure very easy. Modern scientists all over the world conduct extensive research works in an attempt to unveil the mystery of phenomenal children. As it turned out, people possessing unique abilities were born on all inhabited continents of the globe during the recent 20 years.

Scientists call such kids “indigo children.”
”Boriska is one of them. Apparently, indigo children have a special mission to change our planet. Many of them have amended DNA spirals, which gives them incredibly strong immune system, which can even defeat AIDS. I have met such children in China, India, Vietnam and so on. I am sure that they will change the future of our civilization,” Vladislav Lugovenko said.
While world's leading space agencies are trying to find traces of life on planet Mars, eight-year-old Boriska tells his parents and friends everything he knows about the Martian civilization. Boriska remembers his past life. Specialists say that he knows the information, which he actually cannot know. A Russian journalist has recently talked to the boy about his unique knowledge and experience.
- Boriska, did you really live on Mars as people say around here?
- Yes, I did, it is true. I remember that time, when I was 14 or 15 years old. The Martians were waging wars all the time so I would often have to participate in air raids with a friend of mine. We could travel in time and space flying in round spaceships, but we would observe life on planet Earth on triangular aircrafts. Martian spaceships are very complicated. They are layered, and they can fly all across the Universe.

- Is there life on Mars now?
- Yes, there is, but the planet lost its atmosphere many years ago as a result of a global catastrophe. But Martian people still live there under the ground. They breath carbonic gas.

- How do they look those Martian people?
- Oh they are very tall, taller than seven meters. They possess incredible qualities.
“When we showed our boy to a variety of scientists, including ufologists, astronomers and historians, all of them agreed that it would be impossible to make all those stories up. Foreign languages and scientific terms, which he says, are usually used by specialists studying this or that particular science,” Boriska's mother said.
Doctors of traditional medicine acknowledge the boy's unusual abilities, although they do not say, of course, that the boy used to live on Mars in his past life

100 reasons why global warming is natural

HERE are the 100 reasons, released in a dossier issued by the European Foundation, why climate change is natural and not man-made:
1) There is “no real scientific proof” that the current warming is caused by the rise of greenhouse gases from man’s activity.

2) Man-made carbon dioxide emissions throughout human history constitute less than 0.00022 percent of the total naturally emitted from the mantle of the earth during geological history.

3) Warmer periods of the Earth’s history came around 800 years before rises in CO2 levels.

4) After World War II, there was a huge surge in recorded CO2 emissions but global temperatures fell for four decades after 1940.

5) Throughout the Earth’s history, temperatures have often been warmer than now and CO2 levels have often been higher - more than ten times as high.

6) Significant changes in climate have continually occurred throughout geologic time.

7) The 0.7°C increase in the average global temperature over the last hundred years is entirely consistent with well-established, long-term, natural climate trends.

8) The IPCC theory is driven by just 60 scientists and favorable reviewers not the 4,000 usually cited.

9) Leaked e-mails from British climate scientists - in a scandal known as “Climate-gate” - suggest that that has been manipulated to exaggerate global warming

10) A large body of scientific research suggests that the sun is responsible for the greater share of climate change during the past hundred years.

11) Politicians and activists claim rising sea levels are a direct cause of global warming but sea levels rates have been increasing steadily since the last ice age 10,000 ago

12) Philip Stott, Emeritus Professor of Biogeography at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London says climate change is too complicated to be caused by just one factor, whether CO2 or clouds

13) Peter Lilley MP said last month that,
“fewer people in Britain than in any other country believe in the importance of global warming. That is despite the fact that our Government and our political class - predominantly - are more committed to it than their counterparts in any other country in the world”.
14) In pursuit of the global warming rhetoric, wind farms will do very little to nothing to reduce CO2 emissions

15) Professor Plimer, Professor of Geology and Earth Sciences at the University of Adelaide, stated that the idea of taking a single trace gas in the atmosphere, accusing it and finding it guilty of total responsibility for climate change, is an “absurdity”

16) A Harvard University astrophysicist and geophysicist, Willie Soon, said he is “embarrassed and puzzled” by the shallow science in papers that support the proposition that the earth faces a climate crisis caused by global warming.

17) The science of what determines the earth’s temperature is in fact far from settled or understood.

18) Despite activist concerns over CO2 levels, CO2 is a minor greenhouse gas, unlike water vapour which is tied to climate concerns, and which we can’t even pretend to control

19) A petition by scientists trying to tell the world that the political and media portrayal of global warming is false was put forward in the Heidelberg Appeal in 1992. Today, more than 4,000 signatories, including 72 Nobel Prize winners, from 106 countries have signed it.

20) It is claimed the average global temperature increased at a dangerously fast rate in the 20th century but the recent rate of average global temperature rise has been between 1 and 2 degrees C per century - within natural rates

21) Professor Zbigniew Jaworowski, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Central Laboratory for Radiological Protection in Warsaw, Poland says the earth’s temperature has more to do with cloud cover and water vapor than CO2 concentration in the atmosphere.

22) There is strong evidence from solar studies which suggests that the Earth’s current temperature stasis will be followed by climatic cooling over the next few decades

23) It is myth that receding glaciers are proof of global warming as glaciers have been receding and growing cyclically for many centuries

24) It is a falsehood that the earth’s poles are warming because that is natural variation and while the western Arctic may be getting somewhat warmer we also see that the Eastern Arctic and Greenland are getting colder

25) The IPCC claims climate driven “impacts on biodiversity are significant and of key relevance” but those claims are simply not supported by scientific research

26) The IPCC threat of climate change to the world’s species does not make sense as wild species are at least one million years old, which means they have all been through hundreds of climate cycles

27) Research goes strongly against claims that CO2-induced global warming would cause catastrophic disintegration of the Greenland and Antarctic Ice Sheets.

28) Despite activist concerns over CO2 levels, rising CO2 levels are our best hope of raising crop yields to feed an ever-growing population

29) The biggest climate change ever experienced on earth took place around 700 million years ago

30) The slight increase in temperature which has been observed since 1900 is entirely consistent with well-established, long-term natural climate cycles

31) Despite activist concerns over CO2 levels, rising CO2 levels of some so-called “greenhouse gases” may be contributing to higher oxygen levels and global cooling, not warming

32) Accurate satellite, balloon and mountain top observations made over the last three decades have not shown any significant change in the long term rate of increase in global temperatures

33) Today’s CO2 concentration of around 385 ppm is very low compared to most of the earth’s history - we actually live in a carbon-deficient atmosphere

34) It is a myth that CO2 is the most common greenhouse gas because greenhouse gases form about 3% of the atmosphere by volume, and CO2 constitutes about 0.037% of the atmosphere

35) It is a myth that computer models verify that CO2 increases will cause significant global warming because computer models can be made to “verify” anything

36) There is no scientific or statistical evidence whatsoever that global warming will cause more storms and other weather extremes

37) One statement deleted from a UN report in 1996 stated that “none of the studies cited above has shown clear evidence that we can attribute the observed climate changes to increases in greenhouse gases”

38) The world “warmed” by 0.07 +/- 0.07 degrees C from 1999 to 2008, not the 0.20 degrees C expected by the IPCC

39) The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says “it is likely that future tropical cyclones (typhoons and hurricanes) will become more intense” but there has been no increase in the intensity or frequency of tropical cyclones globally

40) Rising CO2 levels in the atmosphere can be shown not only to have a negligible effect on the Earth’s many ecosystems, but in some cases to be a positive help to many organisms

41) Researchers who compare and contrast climate change impact on civilizations found warm periods are beneficial to mankind and cold periods harmful

42) The Met Office asserts we are in the hottest decade since records began but this is precisely what the world should expect if the climate is cyclical

43) Rising CO2 levels increase plant growth and make plants more resistant to drought and pests

44) The historical increase in the air’s CO2 content has improved human nutrition by raising crop yields during the past 150 years

45) The increase of the air’s CO2 content has probably helped lengthen human lifespans since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution

46) The IPCC alleges that “climate change currently contributes to the global burden of disease and premature deaths” but the evidence shows that higher temperatures and rising CO2levels has helped global populations

47) In May of 2004, the Russian Academy of Sciences published a report concluding that the Kyoto Protocol has no scientific grounding at all.

48) The “Climate-gate” scandal pointed to a expensive public campaign of disinformation and the denigration of scientists who opposed the belief that CO2 emissions were causing climate change

49) The head of Britain’s climate change watchdog has predicted households will need to spend up to £15,000 on a full energy efficiency makeover if the Government is to meet its ambitious targets for cutting carbon emissions.

50) Wind power is unlikely to be the answer to our energy needs. The wind power industry argues that there are “no direct subsidies” but it involves a total subsidy of as much as £60 per MWh which falls directly on electricity consumers. This burden will grow in line with attempts to achieve Wind power targets, according to a recent OFGEM report.

51) Wind farms are not an efficient way to produce energy. The British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) accepts a figure of 75 per cent back-up power is required.

52) Global temperatures are below the low end of IPCC predictions not at “at the top end of IPCC estimates”

53) Climate alarmists have raised the concern over acidification of the oceans but Tom Segalstad from Oslo University in Norway , and others, have noted that the composition of ocean water - including CO2, calcium, and water - can act as a buffering agent in the acidification of the oceans.

54) The UN’s IPCC computer models of human-caused global warming predict the emergence of a “hotspot” in the upper troposphere over the tropics. Former researcher in the Australian Department of Climate Change, David Evans, said there is no evidence of such a hotspot

55) The argument that climate change is a of result of global warming caused by human activity is the argument of flat Earthers.

56) The manner in which US President Barack Obama sidestepped Congress to order emission cuts shows how undemocratic and irrational the entire international decision-making process has become with regards to emission-target setting.

57) William Kininmonth, a former head of the National Climate Centre and a consultant to the World Meteorological Organization, wrote,
“the likely extent of global temperature rise from a doubling of CO2 is less than 1°C. Such warming is well within the envelope of variation experienced during the past 10,000 years and insignificant in the context of glacial cycles during the past million years, when Earth has been predominantly very cold and covered by extensive ice sheets.”
58) Canada has shown the world targets derived from the existing Kyoto commitments were always unrealistic and did not work for the country.

59) In the lead up to the Copenhagen summit, David Davis MP said of previous climate summits, at Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and Kyoto in 1997 that many had promised greater cuts, but “neither happened”, but we are continuing along the same lines.

60) The UK ’s environmental policy has a long-term price tag of about £55 billion, before taking into account the impact on its economic growth.

61) The UN’s panel on climate change warned that Himalayan glaciers could melt to a fifth of current levels by 2035. J. Graham Cogley a professor at Ontario Trent University, claims this inaccurate stating the UN authors got the date from an earlier report wrong by more than 300 years.

62) Under existing Kyoto obligations the EU has attempted to claim success, while actually increasing emissions by 13 per cent, according to Lord Lawson. In addition the EU has pursued this scheme by purchasing “offsets” from countries such as China paying them billions of dollars to destroy atmospheric pollutants, such as CFC-23, which were manufactured purely in order to be destroyed.

63) It is claimed that the average global temperature was relatively unchanging in pre-industrial times but sky-rocketed since 1900, and will increase by several degrees more over the next 100 years according to Penn State University researcher Michael Mann. There is no convincing empirical evidence that past climate was unchanging, nor that 20th century changes in average global temperature were unusual or unnatural.

64) Michael Mann of Penn State University has actually shown that the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age did in fact exist, which contrasts with his earlier work which produced the “hockey stick graph” which showed a constant temperature over the past thousand years or so followed by a recent dramatic upturn.

65) The globe’s current approach to climate change in which major industrialized countries agree to nonsensical targets for their CO2 emissions by a given date, as it has been under the Kyoto system, is very expensive.

66) The “Climate-gate” scandal revealed that a scientific team had emailed one another about using a “trick” for the sake of concealing a “decline” in temperatures when looking at the history of the Earth’s temperature.

67) Global temperatures have not risen in any statistically-significant sense for 15 years and have actually been falling for nine years. The “Climate-gate” scandal revealed a scientific team had expressed dismay at the fact global warming was contrary to their predictions and admitted their inability to explain it was “a travesty”.

68) The IPCC predicts that a warmer planet will lead to more extreme weather, including drought, flooding, storms, snow, and wildfires. But over the last century, during which the IPCC claims the world experienced more rapid warming than any time in the past two millennia, the world did not experience significantly greater trends in any of these extreme weather events.

69) In explaining the average temperature standstill we are currently experiencing, the Met Office Hadley Centre ran a series of computer climate predictions and found in many of the computer runs there were decade-long standstills but none for 15 years - so it expects global warming to resume swiftly.

70) Richard Lindzen, Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, wrote:
“The notion of a static, unchanging climate is foreign to the history of the Earth or any other planet with a fluid envelope. Such hysteria (over global warming) simply represents the scientific illiteracy of much of the public, the susceptibility of the public to the substitution of repetition for truth.”
71) Despite the 1997 Kyoto Protocol’s status as the flagship of the fight against climate change it has been a failure.

72) The first phase of the EU’s Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), which ran from 2005 to 2007 was a failure. Huge over-allocation of permits to pollute led to a collapse in the price of carbon from €33 to just €0.20 per tonne meaning the system did not reduce emissions at all.

73) The EU trading scheme, to manage carbon emissions has completely failed and actually allows European businesses to duck out of making their emissions reductions at home by offsetting, which means paying for cuts to be made overseas instead.

74) To date “cap and trade” carbon markets have done almost nothing to reduce emissions.

75) In the United States , the cap-and-trade is an approach designed to control carbon emissions and will impose huge costs upon American citizens via a carbon tax on all goods and services produced in the United States. The average family of four can expect to pay an additional $1700, or £1,043, more each year. It is predicted that the United States will lose more than 2 million jobs as the result of cap-and-trade schemes.

76) Dr Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, has indicated that out of the 21 climate models tracked by the IPCC the differences in warming exhibited by those models is mostly the result of different strengths of positive cloud feedback - and that increasing CO2 is insufficient to explain global-average warming in the last 50 to 100 years.

77) Why should politicians devote our scarce resources in a globally competitive world to a false and ill-defined problem, while ignoring the real problems the entire planet faces, such as: poverty, hunger, disease or terrorism.

78) A proper analysis of ice core records from the past 650,000 years demonstrates that temperature increases have come before, and not resulted from, increases in CO2 by hundreds of years.

79) Since the cause of global warming is mostly natural, then there is in actual fact very little we can do about it. (We are still not able to control the sun).

80) A substantial number of the panel of 2,500 climate scientists on the United Nation’s International Panel on Climate Change, which created a statement on scientific unanimity on climate change and man-made global warming, were found to have serious concerns.

81) The UK’s Met Office has been forced this year to re-examine 160 years of temperature data after admitting that public confidence in the science on man-made global warming has been shattered by revelations about the data.

82) Politicians and activists push for renewable energy sources such as wind turbines under the rhetoric of climate change, but it is essentially about money - under the system of Renewable Obligations. Much of the money is paid for by consumers in electricity bills. It amounts to £1 billion a year.

83) The “Climate-gate” scandal revealed that a scientific team had tampered with their own data so as to conceal inconsistencies and errors.

84) The “Climate-gate” scandal revealed that a scientific team had campaigned for the removal of a learned journal’s editor, solely because he did not share their willingness to debase science for political purposes.

85) Ice-core data clearly show that temperatures change centuries before concentrations of atmospheric CO2 change. Thus, there appears to be little evidence for insisting that changes in concentrations of CO2 are the cause of past temperature and climate change.

86) There are no experimentally verified processes explaining how CO2 concentrations can fall in a few centuries without falling temperatures - in fact it is changing temperatures which cause changes in CO2 concentrations, which is consistent with experiments that show CO2 is the atmospheric gas most readily absorbed by water.

87) The Government’s Renewable Energy Strategy contains a massive increase in electricity generation by wind power costing around £4 billion a year over the next twenty years. The benefits will be only £4 to £5 billion overall (not per annum). So costs will outnumber benefits by a range of between eleven and seventeen times.

88) Whilst CO2 levels have indeed changed for various reasons, human and otherwise, just as they have throughout history, the CO2 content of the atmosphere has increased since the beginning of the industrial revolution, and the growth rate has now been constant for the past 25 years.

89) It is a myth that CO2 is a pollutant, because nitrogen forms 80% of our atmosphere and human beings could not live in 100% nitrogen either: CO2 is no more a pollutant than nitrogen is and CO2 is essential to life.

90) Politicians and climate activists make claims to rising sea levels but certain members in the IPCC chose an area to measure in Hong Kong that is subsiding. They used the record reading of 2.3 mm per year rise of sea level.

91) The accepted global average temperature statistics used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change show that no ground-based warming has occurred since 1998.

92) If one factors in non-greenhouse influences such as El Nino events and large volcanic eruptions, lower atmosphere satellite-based temperature measurements show little, if any, global warming since 1979, a period over which atmospheric CO2 has increased by 55 ppm (17 per cent).

93) US President Barack Obama pledged to cut emissions by 2050 to equal those of 1910 when there were 92 million Americans. In 2050, there will be 420 million Americans, so Obama’s promise means that emissions per head will be approximately what they were in 1875. It simply will not happen.

94) The European Union has already agreed to cut emissions by 20 percent to 2020, compared with 1990 levels, and is willing to increase the target to 30 percent. However, these are unachievable and the EU has already massively failed with its Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), as EU emissions actually rose by 0.8 percent from 2005 to 2006 and are known to be well above the Kyoto goal.

95) Australia has stated it wants to slash greenhouse emissions by up to 25 percent below 2000 levels by 2020, but the pledges were so unpopular that the country’s Senate has voted against the carbon trading Bill, and the Opposition’s Party leader has now been ousted by a climate change skeptic.

96) Canada plans to reduce emissions by 20 percent compared with 2006 levels by 2020, representing approximately a 3 percent cut from 1990 levels but it simultaneously defends its Alberta tar sands emissions and its record as one of the world’s highest per-capita emissions setters.

97) India plans to reduce the ratio of emissions to production by 20-25 percent compared with 2005 levels by 2020, but all Government officials insist that since India has to grow for its development and poverty alleviation, it has to emit, because the economy is driven by carbon.

98) The Leipzig Declaration in 1996, was signed by 110 scientists who said:
“We - along with many of our fellow citizens - are apprehensive about the climate treaty conference scheduled for Kyoto, Japan, in December 1997” and “based on all the evidence available to us, we cannot subscribe to the politically inspired world view that envisages climate catastrophes and calls for hasty actions.”
99) A US Oregon Petition Project stated,
“We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.

There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of CO2, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”
100) A report by the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change concluded,
“We find no support for the IPCC’s claim that climate observations during the twentieth century are either unprecedented or provide evidence of an anthropogenic effect on climate.”

Millionaires don't have astrologers, billionaires do - JP Morgan

Is the future of your business written in the stars?
I’m supposed to have been a multi-millionaire by now with a partner and kids and a career as this country’s most influential politician. My readiness for such a prestigious posting was apparently gained over many years of experience as a political adviser to kings and queens – not just years of experience but lifetimes, 14 of them to be precise.
None of that, of course, is true. But the psychics who channeled those visions at the time seemed incredibly convincing. Now they’re just un-credibly convincing.
It’s rumoured JP Morgan was scheduled to be on the Titanic but pulled out at the last minute because his astrologer told him not to board.
So why do some entrepreneurs and corporate types turn to tarot readers, psychics, fortunetellers and other manifestations of the supernatural? You’d hope it’s simply a desire for an intuitive sounding board, a metaphysical second opinion. But it seems as though many seriously consider astrologers to be a substitute for rigorous business analysis.
It’s rumoured, for example, that JP Morgan – the man, not the corporation – was scheduled to be on the Titanic but pulled out at the last minute because his astrologer told him not to board. He listened to her urgings and was grateful to have done so since, unlike others on that vessel, he lived for another year.

His reliance on an astrologer in many areas of business investment is perhaps best demonstrated by his quotation that “millionaires don’t have astrologers; billionaires do”.

Closer to home, I was talking recently with the owner of a mid-sized accounting firm who told me he never makes a major decision without first consulting his “spiritual guide”. She, for example, counseled him against expanding further interstate and advised him to close entirely one of his offices. He dutifully complied and doesn’t at all regret his decision.
Understandably, the guy wants to remain anonymous, conscious of the damage it’d do to his reputation (and perhaps to his business) if he were to ever come out of the closet as a passionate believer.

In the book Signs of Success: the remarkable power of business astrology, Steven Weiss writes that astrologers have made substantial contributions to the business success of luminaries such as Walt Disney, Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey, and have been indispensable for presidents like Ronald Reagan who is famously said to have been addicted to his personal astrologer’s views.

Weiss explains that business leaders can learn from astrologers because, when they dismiss them, they put themselves “at a disadvantage in understanding international clients and consumers”.

What he’s suggesting is that in a globalised world where customers can come from anywhere, it’s important to account and cater for people (such as those in India) whose culture is more inclined to believe in this sort of stuff.

So, if you’re thinking of starting a new business, here’s one thing in particular you should keep in mind from an astrological perspective: apparently, dates are crucially important.

Some astrologers reckon it’s best to launch a new venture on a Wednesday or a Saturday, while others recommend kicking off in concert with a new moon, the upcoming dates of which are January 1 and January 30. The 30th, however, happens to be a Thursday – a clear contradiction there within the profession.

It’s difficult, though, to believe any astrologer is capable of predicting the future. The three I’ve personally consulted have been freakishly accurate at telling me my past and present, with all three describing my life with such clarity and consistency it could not possibly relate to anyone else. (In other words, they’re extremely talented at telling me what I already know.)

But as for what’s to come? The jury’s still out on that one and, for that reason, it’s somewhat disconcerting for people in business to be relying on them. Nevertheless, I’ll keep waiting for that first million.

Do you believe in astrology? What are your experiences?

142857: What a Fascinating Number

I've just been introduced to a rather extra-ordinary number: 142857.
Now as it stands, it doesn't look particularly fascinating or special but it does when you start to play with it. So lets get playing.
Lets start with some multiplication...
          142857 x 1 = 142857
          142857 x 2 = 285714
          142857 x 3 = 428571
          142857 x 4 = 571428
          142857 x 5 = 714285
          142857 x 6 = 857142
Oooooooo, well look at that. Do you see it?
Notice how each answer contains exactly the same individual numbers, just shifted slightly. It's easier to see if I list the lines as follows:
          142857 x 1 = 142857
          142857 x 3 = 428571
          142857 x 2 = 285714
          142857 x 6 = 857142
          142857 x 4 = 571428
          142857 x 5 = 714285
Coool.
Now what about multiplying it by 7?
          142857 X 7 = 999999
Whoops!! Don't worry, it's not over. That's actually quite significant. Look what happens when you split the digits into pairs or triplets and add them up:
          142 + 857 = 999
          14 + 28 + 57 = 99
Hmmmm. Interesting. 9s. But what about multiples greater than 7? Well, there's a pattern there too...
          142857 × 8 = 1142856
          142857 × 9 = 1285713
          142857 x 26 = 3714282
          142857 x 142857 = 20408122449
          142857 × 133 = 18999981
See it? Probably not, but you will when I tell you the secret: add the last six digits to the remaining digits and repeating this process until you have only six digits left...
          1 + 142856 = 142857
          1 + 285713 = 285714
          3 + 714282 = 714285
          20408 + 122449 = 142857
          18 + 999981 = 999999
Whoops, that last one didn't work. Or did it? What's significant about 133? It's a multiple of 7. Hmmmm, that number 7 seems to be quite significant, and indeed it is... look what 1 ÷ 7 gives you...
          1 ÷ 7 = 0 . 142857 142857 142857 142857 142857 142857 14...
Well look at that, a never ending list of our magic number.
So what's so special about 142857? Well, according to Wikipedia it's the best-known cyclic number in base 10 (the number system we use). If you multiply the number by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, the answer will be a cyclic permutation of itself.

Name Power = 40%
Fate Power = 40%
Luck Power = 20%
Total Power = 100%

Dunia ini di kendalikan dgn sebuah Grand System, misalnya sistem perpuluhan, zikir, sedekah, memberi semakin kaya, hemat semakin miskin padahal di sekolah di ajarkan hemat pangkal kaya tp sampe tua berhemat tetep aja gak kaya kaya, ini artinya anda semakin menjauhi sistem kesuksesan yg sudah di atur Tuhan kita di bumi tempat kita berpijak. Follow the System
